In a chat with India Today, Ajith said, “I have trouble sleeping. I can't sleep well for more than four hours at a time. Even on flights, I try to rest as little as possible.” He mentioned that this has prevented him from spending much time watching movies and web series.

Ajith also candidly shared about family sacrifices, such as not being able to spend time with his children.

He said that he missed out on some family moments because of pursuing his dreams. Meanwhile, the support of his wife Shalini, was the main pillar of his life. Non spoiler review:

First half was really good. Emotional and rural connect really worked. A couple of scenes involving the calf and idly shop worked brilliantly. Even the songs were very well woven into the film. Father-son-Idly Kadai bond was extremely moving. Interval setup was pakka for 2nd half.

Instead of building on the emotional drama the first half built, it moves into familiar hero vs villain territory. It gets generic but a few writing touches involving Parthiban’s character, villagers unity work well. Climax was a fun touch.

Overall, a pretty simple yet solid feel-good drama which slides into generic action territory but solid acting, music and production values enhance the film. A refreshing breath of air amidst all the loud action movies.

TL;DR: Brilliant first half but second half is a bit generic and repetitive and loses steam before picking up in pre climax and ends on a fun note

It looks like Suriya's 2D Entertainment Production House will be for works of his actor's daughter and probably Bollywood films, he will launch on Ayudha Puja Day a new production company and first will be Malayalam film Romancham fae Jithu directing him. Kollywood actor Suriya’s last few films have failed to impress the audience and have ended up as commercial failures. The star is now acting in a movie directed by Venky Atluri, who recently delivered the superhit Lucky Baskhar. Apart from it, Suriya also has a film titled Karuppu, directed by RJ Balaji, and it will be released next year.

Many are aware that Suriya owns a production house named ‘2D Entertainment.’ The latest buzz in Kollywood circles suggests that Suriya will soon launch a new banner, ‘Zhagaram.’ The National Award-winning actor has already agreed to do his 47th film with Aavesham director Jithu Madhavan.

While we debate about Phalke award not going to Mammootty, Madhu and Kamal Haasan, a new person to join the list of complantants list is singer Sujatha Mohan's daughter Swetha.  Swetha who got the Tamil Nadu Government equivalent of a Phalke award called Kalaimamani says that each year her mother’s song is send to national jury and it gets rejected. Sujatha got her Kalaimamani four years back but her mentor the legendary Yesudas got it only this year. Yesudas who began his career in Chennai and settled down in the metro is now based in USA where his son lives. It would be a treat to see him share the stage with Swetha for Kalaimamani. Pro’s Diamond Babu and Nikil Murugan have this year got the honour.

Devi Mani veteran journalist who got the award says that free bus pass has yet to reach him. My friend Late Cinema Express Ramamiirthy got his honour during Karunanidhi period and it surprised us as he was a ardent Jayalalitha bhakt, Not many know that Krishnamoorthy of Soorya film and Arts Society based in Thriuvanthapuram is a recepent of this honour.
