Chempaneer Poovu the Malayalam serial on Asianet has it’s Tamil version Siragadika Asai on Vijay TV. In the Tamil serial Sruthi Narayanan who plays the role of close friend of character Kalyani who poses as rich girl from Malaysia, was caught in a video leak that was taken at an audition. She had termed it as fake. Gomathi Priya who acted in the Tamil serial had initially acted in the same role in Malayalam but was subsequently replaced by Rebecca. Gomathi in her short span in the serial got many Kerala fans.
