Kollywood director Karthik Subbaraj recently posted a video of himself with Shah Rukh Khan, and it quickly went viral. The clip created confusion among viewers, with many wondering if the two are already working on a film together. Reports clarified that Shah Rukh Khan had acted in a Thumbs Up advertisement directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The video shared was a behind-the-scenes glimpse from the shoot, not from a movie set as some had assumed. Even so, the bond between Shah Rukh Khan and Karthik Subbaraj in the video excited fans. Many are now asking for a full-length collaboration, pointing to SRK’s successful pairing with Atlee in Jawan as an example. The video also left some people convinced Karthik Subbaraj is directing Shah Rukh Khan’s next project. While it turned out to be only an ad shoot, the buzz around the video continues to grow on social media.

Power couple Suriya and Jyotika's 17-year-old daughter Diya seems to have followed the same footsteps as her parents, by entering the world of showbiz. Diya is making her directorial debut with the film, Leading Light produced by Suriya and Jyotika's 2D Entertainment.

The film was screened for the 'Oscar qualifying run' at the Regency Theatre, California. The docu-drama discusses the experiences of "Women Gaffers of Bollywood." 2D Entertainment shared the poster on its X (formerly Twitter) account.

Diya made her debut just a few months after she passed out of the University of Southern California, USA. In May, in a post, Suriya and Jyoti shared a post of Diya on Instagram. "All we feel right now is … PROUD. May your choices reflect your hopes and not your fears. All the very best, Diya. Amma Appa’s blessings forever ."

KALYANI NEW LADY SUPERSTAR AS OTHERS FALL

Heroine centric films like Lokah the Malayalam film and Ghatti the Telugu films and a rom com Param Sundari hit screens last week, out of this Lokah is a blockbuster and makes Kalyani a Superstar while Ghatti and Prem Sundari riding on high hype crashed. It has put a big question mark on Anushka’s pull at box office and Jhanvi Kapoor’s pull in Bollywood and questions about whether she will be able to continue the legacy of her Late Mom Sreedevi. Earlier Anupama Parameswaran made a bid with Purdah and it too sank.

The only woman Superstar in South was Vijay Shanthi and known for her action roles. After that many have come but had no staying power, Kannada saw Malashree and later in Malayalam it was Manju Warrier and most recently it was Nayanthara. All of them have fallen by the wayside. In contrast look at Trisha who still has asway over the audience especially in Tamil. However, her heroine centric films like The Road have crashed.

Nayanthara who took her Superstar title seriously had kept away from hero-oriented films and made appearances in a Thalaivar film or in a Mammooty-film. After her heroine centric films crashing, she has shifted track, her clout with OTT audience too declined and latest being TEST. Now latest is that she is now shaking a leg with Chiru. Ghatti did great business pre release but crashed post release despite having no big Names as opposition.

Though Kalyani has a BIG winner in Lokah , she has starred in a dud released on same day with Fahadh Faazil in the lead. Samantha was one who showed signs of lasting a heroine with draw but she too has fallen. Her sex appeal and her acting talents could have lasted but she over priced herself and made her a losing proposition. Among this take the case of Sai Pallavi. To a great extent Amaran – Thandel hits were possible by Sai’s performance and now she is in Ramayana as Sita.

anhvi has chosen roles that many might call risky, yet she has built a reputation as one of the strongest Bollywood debuts of recent times. She went on to appear in Zoya Akhtar’s Ghost Stories on OTT, receiving praise from both critics and fans. Later, her 2020 biopic Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl premiered directly on Netflix, gaining appreciation despite the lack of a theatrical release. Trade experts felt the film could have done even better in cinemas, but Netflix reportedly paid Rs 50 crore for rights, turning it into a profitable project. Janhvi’s performance also connected with a wide audience, proving her growing talent. She followed this with roles in Roohi, Good Luck Jerry, Mili, and Bawal with Varun Dhawan. In 2023, she also entered Telugu cinema with Devara: Part 1, starring opposite Jr NTR, marking her pan-India debut. Not every project has worked in her favour, like the 2024 film Ulajh. Still, Janhvi has focused on heroine-led stories. Her recent comedy-drama Param Sundari, with Sidharth Malhotra, grossed Rs 40 crore in its first week at theatres. Her upcoming film Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari with Varun Dhawan has already built hype with its trailer.

Thalapathy Vijay Jana Nayagan crucial scene rights for Rs 4.5 cr / Jhanvi Kapoor slammed

As per reports, a crucial good touch bad touch scene from Bhagavanth Kesari, will be included in Jana Nayagan as per actor Vijay's insistence. As per Telugu 360 website, Sahu Garapati, the producer of Bhagavanth Kesari has sealed the deal and quoted for Rs 4.5 crores.

When it comes to Nandamuri Balakrishna, it’s always spread that he gives speeches that are laced with not-so-understandable Telugu poems, and slaps fans and other anger issues. But then, beating all this negativity into the sky, director Anil Ravipudi made sure that he delivered the right message to everyone through Balayya’s powerful stardom. And the iconic good touch bad touch scene is a testimony of that.

The ‘good touch bad touch’ scene from Bhagwant Kesari stands out big time as the message is powerful for young girls about when should they worry about a man’s touch.

The way Balayya details the scene with his powerful expressions and explains to girls that one should not touch them at particular places is something needed for society right now. The likes of hero Rahul Ravindran felt that this powerful communication coming from Balayya would reach everyone in a week which other mediums will take ten years.

In a recent interview with BBC Asian Network, Bosco Martis talked about choreographers being left out while talking about hit songs. While he praised Vicky Kaushal for gracefully giving credit to him for his hit song Tauba Tauba, he talked about Chuttamalle from Devara going viral with no credit for him. "I wish Janhvi would have spoken about it in her promotions, but fine, it's okay.", said Bosco with a smile. He added, "If they don't realise it, I think, then they don't realise it. So, you do your work, and maybe it's a switch I don't know!" Going back through Bosco interviews , he had given gone gaga over NTR Jr dance movements in the song and kept silent about Jhanvi.

'Chuttamalle' song from Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor’s film Devara: Part 1 was an instant chartbuster. Although the song initially faced criticism and backlash for plagiarism, it continued to receive support from Jr NTR fans. The song was also trending high for the number of reels and memes that were made.

Nayanthara-Vignesh Shivan's Twin Sons

Nayanthara-Vignesh Shivan's sons are the latest fans to vibe to NTR and Janhvi Kapoor’s super hit song Chuttamalle. The couple’s twin sons, Uyir and Ulag are a huge fan of music director Anirudh Ravichander's rendition. A video shared by Vignesh shows his sons humming to the song while in a car as Nayanthara captures the adorable moment. The songs also recreated Anirudh's famous hook part 'aah' just at the right time – much to the mom Nayanthara’s awe.

Nani is son of whore in Paradise teaser with jhanvi Kapoor in lead

Nani Paradise teaser at the outset says it has raw language and as voice over description goes comes the hero introduction as son of a prostitute and the woman voice says my son. Read on: Natural Star Nani, Srikanth Odela, Sudhakar Cherukuri, SLV Cinemas’ The Paradise Raw Statement Promises A Gritty & Epic Journey Dasara marked a significant departure for Natural Star Nani, who stepped out of his comfort zone to portray a rugged, rustic character- something movie buffs hadn’t expected from him. Now, Nani is set to impress once again, as he teams up with director Srikanth Odela and producer Sudhakar Cherukuri of SLV Cinemas once again for an even bigger project. Their new film, titled The Paradise, is currently in the early stages of production and promises to showcase Nani in yet another bold, larger-than-life role. Today, the makers unveiled the glimpse of the film, titled Raw Statement, and the name says it all. From the very first frame, one can understand why the term "raw" is used. The atmosphere, language, narrative, and backdrop are unapologetically gritty and unrefined. The glimpse opens with a disclaimer—raw truth, raw language, setting the tone for what’s to come. A powerful voiceover delivers the core of the story, saying, “In history, everyone has written about parrots and pigeons, but no one has ever written about crows born of the same species. This is the story of those crows whose stomachs burned with hunger... The cries of the corpses that have been walking for ages... A tale of a community raised on blood, not milk, from their mother's breast... A spark ignited that filled the entire community with enthusiasm. Crows who had once been belittled now held swords in their hands. This is the story of a rebellious young man who united those crows... The story of that young man becoming a leader…” The weight of the voiceover, combined with the stark imagery, allows viewers to feel the anguish of the community it describes. The opening shots show slums littered with dead bodies, with crows ominously flying above. Then, a massive explosion marks the entry of the protagonist, Nani, who emerges in an unexpected get-up. Sporting a rugged look, including a watch strapped to his shoes and a country-side gun pulled from the water, he walks with a fierce determination, leading his people with pride. Although his face remains hidden, the sheer power of his body language and posture, highlighted by his muscular physique and double braids, immediately convey the intensity of the character. His belt, emblazoned with the word HERO, symbolizes his role as the leader of his people. This Raw Statement hints that The Paradise will feature Nani’s most raw and intense character to date. His striking makeover speaks volumes, and even without a clear view of his face, the emotion and strength of his portrayal come through strongly. This is just the beginning, and the film promises to be a gritty and epic journey into a world of rebellion and leadership. Director Srikanth Odela has once again proven himself as a visionary filmmaker, masterfully constructing a gritty and immersive world that captivates audiences from the very first frame. His exceptional storytelling shines through with every scene, as he redefines Nani’s on-screen presence by presenting a character filled with raw intensity. One of the most compelling aspects of the glimpse is the meticulous attention to detail, such as the tattoo on Nani's hand. This seemingly minor visual element becomes a powerful symbol of the character's personal evolution. From a technical standpoint, Raw Statement excels in every department. Cinematographer GK Vishnu delivers breathtaking visuals that perfectly capture the film's unrelenting energy and intense atmosphere. Rockstar Anirudh Ravichander's electrifying score stands out, enhancing the high-stakes narrative with every beat. His music amplifies the adrenaline-pumping moments, adding another layer of depth to the experience. The production design by Avinash Kolla is another standout element of Raw Statement. The world Odela creates is raw, gritty, and utterly believable. Every detail, from the costumes to the set design, immerses the audience in this intense universe. The editing is by Navin Nooli. The production values from SLV Cinemas are exceptional. The film’s scale and grandeur are palpable in every frame, with a level of polish that underscores the magnitude of the story being told. The Raw Statement, released in five languages—Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, English, and Spanish — delivers the unexpected, setting a new standard and raising the bar for cinematic excellence. The Kannada, Malayalam & Bengali versions of the glimpse will be released shortly. With its universal appeal, the film will have a pan-world release.
