Natural Star Nani who attained Pan India fame with Dasara and is awaiting the release of Hi Nanna will next be joining forces with Talented Director Vivek Athreya who delivered a cult entertainer like Ante Sundaraniki. The film #Nani31 will be produced on a large canvas by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari of DVV Entertainment, after RRR which won an Oscar Award. The makers who recently announced the project with a small video have disclosed its title through another intriguing video called Unchained. The action-packed Unchained opens with a voiceover by Sai Kumar describing the rare and phenomenal quality of the protagonist who is incontrollable on a day in every week. Saturday is that special day. Finally, the title is revealed as Suryavin Sanikizhamai and it sounds unusual and powerful. Priyanka Arul Mohan is the female lead, while Tamil Star Actor SJ Suryah is cast in a crucial role in the film. Leading technicians are working on this film. Sensational composer Jakes Bejoy scores the music, while Murali G is the cinematographer. Karthika Srinivas is the editor.

S J Suryah Vadhandhi – The Fable of Velonie, web series premiere AT IFFI

 

The eight-episode thriller will premiere in India and more than 240 countries and territories on Prime Video, starting 2nd December
Produced by Pushkar and Gayatri under the banner of Wallwatcher Films, and created by Andrew Louis, the Amazon Original series stars the multifaceted film artiste, S.J. Suryah in his streaming debut

GOA, India —27 November, 2022— Prime Video, India’s most-loved entertainment destination, presented an exclusive screening for its upcoming Tamil crime thriller, Vadhandhi – The Fable of Velonie, at the ongoing 53rd edition of International Film Festival of India (IFFI), Asia’s oldest and India’s most iconic international film festival. The first-look showcase opened to a packed house and the series was appreciated for its visual treatment, gripping plot and powerful performances. Much like its title Vadhandhi, which means rumours, the show takes you into the world of young and beautiful Velonie, played by debutante, Sanjana, whose story is riddled with rumours.  A troubled but determined cop, played by S.J. Suryah, finds himself caught in the web of lies but is hell bent on finding the truth.
The screening was preceded by an interaction with Aparna Purohit, Head of Originals, Prime Video, India and the cast and creators of the series – Creative Producers Pushkar and Gayatri; writer, director and creator Andrew Louis; lead actor SJ Suryah and debutante actor Sanjana, who plays the titular role in the series. They shared with the audience, interesting anecdotes about the making of the series, and the reach of local content worldwide.

Amazon Original Series Vadhandhi – Fable of Velonie will be available on Prime Video for worldwide audiences starting 2nd December. The 8-episode Tamil crime thriller will also be available in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
