Simran spoke about Laila / Empuran team to clash for Onam / Yash Hindi stuns Hindi bhaiyaas

New input to Simran-  Jyothika issue , Guessing game is on ; Others believe the comment could be targeting Trisha, who recently worked with Simran in Good Bad Ugly alongside Ajith Kumar. Another name that popped up was actress Laila, her co-star in Sabdham. It is not Trisha as film was not released when Simran spoke on stage in March. Sabdham was released in February, 2025 . Laila and Simran while working in Parthean Rasithean did not share good vibes and in Pithamagan it was Laila who got meaty role. Laila was approached to do Andhagan role that went to Simran says source.  Andhagan was released on August 2024.

In an awards show, Jyotika was asked about her friendship with Simran. She said, "I've told this several times, Simran is my favourite actress. When I entered the industry, my mom told me to copy Simran, become as slim as her and dance like her. "

Several are guessing that she is talking about actress Jyotika, who recently starred in the series Dabba Cartel, hinting Simran's use of the word "dabba" as a subtle reference. However, no official word has come from either side, leaving the matter open for netizens to specualte.

Simran and Jyotika have starred together in Vaali and 12B.

After Empuran, Prithviraj and Mohanlal are clashing at the box office with two of their awaited films and joining them is Fahadh with his film. Epic clash is on ONAM. Mohanlal – Satyan Anthikad combo that has never failed with Hridyapoorvam, Prithviraj with Vilayath Bhudha and Fahadh Faasil with Odum Kuthita Chadum Kuthira are the three films to compete. In a video shared by ANI, Yash, dressed in a simple white shirt and sporting his trademark long beard, humbly expressed his feelings in Hindi after the darshan. The Kannada star said, “Bahot khushi huwa. Shiv ji ka aashirwaad chahiye tha. Aur main Shiv ka bahot bada bhakt hu. Bachpan se mujhe… mane-devaru bolte hai. Ghar ka Kuldevta bhi Shiva hai. Bahot khushi huwa. Woh vibration hi bilkul alag hai, hum jis tarah se baithe the, samay kaise chala gaya pata hi nahi chala. Dhyan mein baith gaye toh bahot accha laga. Sabka bhala ho, sabko achha ho, sabko abhivrudhi mile.”
This roughly translates to, “I felt very happy. I needed Lord Shiva’s blessings. And I am a big devotee of Shiva. Since childhood… we call him ‘Mane Devaru.’ Shiva is also the family deity at home. I felt pleased. That vibration is truly unique, as is the way we were sitting — we didn’t even realize how time passed. Sitting in meditation felt really good. May everyone be blessed, may everyone be well, and may everyone progress.”
Kannada superstar Yash, known for his powerful performances in the KGF franchise, recently visited the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple in Ujjain. Before the shooting of Ramayana, a much-awaited mythological epic, the actor went to the temple to visit Lord Shiva and seek blessings for the new venture.

As per reports, before the first set of filming for Ramayana, Yash is expected to go to the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple in Ujjain. This temple pilgrimage is important not just for the actor on a personal level, but also because it also sets the spiritual atmosphere for a film that has Indian mythology and culture at its core. The film also casts Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash, who plays a strong yet undisclosed character that many believe is Ravana, under the direction of Nitesh Tiwari.

We had reported about Simran’s speech at the JFW award  event and that  she was talking about Jyothika who acted in Dabba Cartel Hindi web series. Read; https://southfilmy.blogspot.com/2025/04/vijay-re-release-opened-bigger-than.html

Simran had played the college Principal in Ziddi Girls the Hindi web series. Both were streamed in February end and in a day difference. ZIddi streamed on Amazon Prime and Dabba on Netflix. According to Simran the actress who she congratulated replied that it was better than playing aunty roles and that it was referring to her present on screen roles . Could it not be the actress was talking about her own choice of roles ?

Anyway, the latest to this episode is that JFW show that hardly created any ripple in March is now doing so with the Simran portion alone coming on X and YouTube . Is this a promotion for Tourist Family releasing in May 2 and starring Simran and Sasikumar. Incidentally Jyothika is co- producer of Retro starring her hubby Suriya and releasing on May 1.

A groundbreaking cinematic endeavor, "Toxic" is the first ever large scale Indian film to be conceptualized, written, and filmed in both English and an Indian language, Kannada being the Indian language the film is being shot in, paving the way for a truly global film experience. The film will be dubbed in multiple Indian and international languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. Rocking Star Yash’s "Toxic," written and directed by the internationally acclaimed Geetu Mohandas, is poised to redefine cross-cultural storytelling. Shot in both English and Kannada, the film aims for global resonance. Kannada captures the nuances for Indian audiences, while English ensures accessibility worldwide, reflecting the filmmakers' commitment to authenticity and diverse reach. "Our vision for 'Toxic' was to craft a narrative that resonates authentically with audiences both in India and globally," says director Geetu Mohandas. "We've strived to capture the nuances of the story in both Kannada and English, ensuring an authentic experience for viewers across different linguistic and cultural backgrounds. 'Toxic' explores a collaboration of artistic vision and precision of commercial storytelling. It's a journey that transcends borders, languages, and cultural confines, designed to connect with hearts and minds worldwide."
Toxic, a film jointly produced by Venkat Narayana under KVN Productions and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, was conceived as a global cinematic experience. This vision is reflected in the collaboration between Yash, a box office phenomenon, and Geetu Mohandas, whose work has been awarded at many international platforms, including the Sundance Film Festival and the Toronto Film Festival. The film's international team—including action sequences by JJ Perry, best known for his work in the John Wick and Fast & Furious franchises, and visual effects by DNEG, who recently won the BAFTA Film Award for Special Visual Effects for Dune: Part Two—was carefully assembled to match the project's scale, further emphasizing this global approach. The filmmakers' commitment to authentic storytelling and messaging led them to embrace the bilingual format. Last month, on Rocking Star Yash's birthday, the team released a "Birthday Peek" offering a glimpse into the world of "Toxic." The teaser generated significant excitement, showcasing the film's scale and international-standard production values. The film's recently revealed bilingual nature has required extensive preparation and extended days of shoot. Filming began in August 2024. The filmmakers are invested in creating an immersive world, bringing together a top-tier global and Indian talent pool. These factors combined have contributed to the project's scale and timeline, positioning Toxic as one of the most expensive Indian productions to date. Producer Venkat K Narayana emphasized the film's ambitious scope, saying, "Our goal for "Toxic" was crystal clear: a film that resonates in India and globally. From the very beginning, we were driven by a deep conviction in this story and its potential. This unwavering belief fueled our "all-in" approach, required to bring this cinematic experience to life. We embraced the challenge wholeheartedly, confident that "Toxic" will not only captivate audiences worldwide but also showcase the brilliance of Indian cinema on a global stage.
