Social media has been buzzing since yesterday about the sudden rise in views for the Thalapathy Katcheri song on YouTube. Many users believe the spike happened because of paid view bots. A few hours ago, Dawn Pictures posted a tweet on X celebrating the 15 million views for the first single Adi Alaye from Sivakarthikeyan’s recent release Parasakthi. The post highlighted the word organic in capital letters and ended with a sarcastic IYKYK. Though Dawn Pictures did not name anyone, netizens felt the tweet indirectly mocked the Thalapathy Katcheri view bot controversy. This led to immediate backlash from Vijay fans and neutral users. Many users said production houses should act responsibly and avoid triggering fan fights. They argued that such comments harm the industry and create unnecessary hate between fan groups. Some also fear that this behaviour might affect Sivakarthikeyan’s growth. They feel he is slowly becoming a major Kollywood star, and controversies like this may attract unwanted negativity. Meanwhile, Vijay fans pointed out that Adi Alaye currently shows only 13 million views, not 15 million. They shared screenshots to claim that Dawn Pictures posted incorrect numbers before mocking others. They warned that Sivakarthikeyan may face heavy backlash because of this tweet. According to them, the production house should have shared accurate figures before criticising anyone. Overall, the Dawn Pictures tweet has triggered a heated fan fight on social media. Many people are actively sharing their opinions and taking sides in the debate.

YouTube responds to bot allegations

A user on X shared a screenshot showing that the song received over 3 million views within an hour, sparking speculation about automated traffic. Responding to the claim, YouTube explained that the platform’s system temporarily slows or freezes view counts while verifying if they come from real users. “We have a system in place to verify engagement metrics (likes, views, subs) if they're from legitimate sources. View counts can slow down or freeze as we confirm they're real (from humans, not computer programs),” the platform said.

Another fan suggested that the video might have been mistakenly flagged as a political campaign video, given Vijay’s political debut with Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK). “YouTube flagged ThalapathyKacheri as a campaign video for Mr. Vijay and TVK. Hence, Google Ads policies froze the view count. After review, the views started reflecting again,” the fan wrote. YouTube seemed to confirm this, adding, “To maintain a fair & positive experience across YouTube, we have systems that verify if views are valid & should be counted.”

Thalapathy Kacheri celebrates Vijay

Soon after the release of the song on Saturday, fans of the TVK chief were seen celebrating across Madurai, dancing to the track and waving posters of Vijay. The song, choreographed by Sekhar, pays homage to the star’s iconic moves from films like Ghilli, Thuppakki, Mersal, and Master.

Jana Nayagan to release on Pongal 2026

With Jana Nayagan set to be Vijay’s final film before he transitions fully into politics, expectations are sky-high. Backed by Venkat K Narayana under KVN Productions, the film is slated for a grand worldwide release on January 9, 2026, coinciding with the Pongal weekend. The film also stars Pooja Hegde and Mamitha Baiju in pivotal roles.  The film will be clashing with Prabhas's The RajaSaab.

Parasakthi ; Fresh SK v/s Sudha / Ravi Mohan Producer / Kubera Pre Release Profit

Actor Ravi Mohan Produces and Stars in ‘BroCode’

 Ravi Mohan turns producer with his upcoming film titled BroCode, in which he also plays the lead role, under the direction of Karthik Yogi.

One of Tamil cinema’s leading stars, Ravi Mohan, will headline the new film BroCode, playing a pivotal protagonist role. The film marks his debut as a producer.

Directed by Karthik Yogi, known for films like Dikkiloona and Vadakkupatti Ramasamy, BroCode will feature Ravi Mohan in the lead role. Acclaimed actor S.J. Suryah also plays a significant character in the film, alongside four leading female actors.

Cinematography is by Kalaiselvan Sivaji, known for his work in Por Thozhil. The music is composed by Harshavardhan, the composer behind hits like Animal and Arjun Reddy. Editing will be handled by Pradeep E. Raghav, and art direction is by A. Rajesh.

Promised as a fun-filled entertainer with elements of slapstick comedy, the film is being produced under the banner Ravi Mohan Studios by actor Ravi Mohan himself.

Speaking about the project, director Karthik Yogi said:

“When I narrated the story to Ravi Mohan, he thoroughly enjoyed it and immediately came forward to produce it. The film features scenes rich in slapstick humor and is designed to offer a unique cinematic experience to the audience.”

The official announcement regarding the four leading female actors will be made soon, and the film’s shoot is scheduled to commence in September, according to the production team.

Meanwhile, Ravi Mohan is also acting in Parasakthi directed by Sudha Kongara and Karate Babu directed by Ganesh K. Babu.
