Era Saravanan’s directorial Udanpirappe is reported to be an emotional family and village drama. The movie display's bond shared between the two siblings, who are separated due to a clash in their opinion.The film features Jyothika, M. Sasikumar, Samuthirakani, and Soori. Sargunam, Mathangi’s (Jyothika) husband insists on following the law , Vairavan (Sasikumar) believes that justice can be got only if fought over. The rift between both the characters, Sargunam and Vairavan aggravates and Mathangi’s efforts seem wasted. The suspense is that will the character of Mathangi succeed in uniting her family in this emotional drama.
