Sivakarthikeyan to join Atlee- Allu Arjun / Vijay Devarakonda to replace Nagarjuna in BB Telugu

Following Salman Khan taking to social media slamming Atlee for keeping their idol waiting and then moving to Allu Arjun, a report says that Rajinikanth will give dates only in 2026 for Atlee and Salman film and so Atlee met the latter and apologized for the delay reports Bollywood Hungama. Atlee met Salman a couple of days back and explained the plight. “He explained all the issues to Salman Khan and the superstar was more than okay to wait for a year and team up with Atlee in 2026. He understood that the budgets warrant presence of another superstar and respected Atlee’s decision to make another film before moving on to a project with him. Atlee apologised to Salman for keeping his dates blocked for a year and has promised to return in 2026.” The meeting went off smooth and both Salman and Atlee parted ways on a positive note with a hug. “Salman wished Atlee all the luck for his next with Allu Arjun and also confessed to be a big fan of the work done by the Pushpa star. He also told Atlee to not be apologetic as films getting delayed is the nature of industry.” According to reports from 123Telugu, popular Tamil star Sivakarthikeyan is being considered for this crucial role. He is currently shooting for Parasakthi under Sudha Kongara’s direction. The actor has reportedly requested the director to finish all his portions by May, as he has two other major projects lined up. Sudha Kongara has adjusted the filming schedule accordingly.

As per a report by Siasat, the makers of Bigg Boss Telugu are exploring options to revamp the show with a younger hero and talks are with Vijay Devarakonda. Bigg Boss Telugu Season 9 is also changing how contestants are selected. In the past, the show included common people along with celebrities. This time, only well-known stars will be part of the show.

Could this be the reason that Kamal Haasan and Chiranjeevi said no to Director Atlee’s Hindi film with Salman Khan ?. The plot is reworking of Bharathan’s Thevar Magan. In case you don’t remember – Aged father lives in his village looking after lands, a feudal Lord. Now son comes from abroad with a GF in tow. He wants to bring reforms in caste politics especially. GF goes back and son beomes hubby to village lass by default. For Hindi wallahs look up Virasaat (1997). This has been given a makeover. The catch is that South hero plays Father role and also his age. Here he sort of a Godfather kind guy but a rustic one. Insiders say that Salman who had seen Virasaat was excited . Story was pitched to Kamal ( original story is Kamal) and expected happened. Now it was Chiru’s turn. Here it seems it sounded like Jilla of Vijay- Mohanlal. But Chiru found it close to Seetharamaraju. Now will Rajinikanth bite the reworked script ? Kamal had at that time used a software called Movie Magic to write the screenplay. Maybe Atlee has the AI tool to outdo the Movie Magic ?

Taxes by Pushpa 2 Producers have been paid for Rs 282 crore as collections from Andhra and Telangana The claimed amount was Rs 380 crores. Including areas where it distributed through third party the amount claimed was Rs 831 crores and producers paid for Rs 612 crores. Rs 219 crores was overinflated claim. In Andhra/ TS the actual amount and claimed amount differed by Rs 98 crores. The total amount of Rs 1700 crores including overseas now seems to be over inflated by a great margin. With Rs 219 crore less from outside AP/TS and Rs 98 crore from two Telugu States, the shortfall in India collection is Rs 317 crores. So who is give actuals from overseas ?. A reasonable Rs 1200 crores would be great. Tax men who checked online booking windows felt that Producers were undercutting returns but now find that Producers were telling the truth or rather close to truth.

Latest report says Vijay’s Jana Nayagan overseas went for Rs 75 crores while Thug Life was sold for Rs 63 crores to AP International. Jana Nayagan Producers have not announced it but Asianet New Tamil reported. Buyer name not given.
