Shankar's Velpari copied by Kantara 1 / NETFLIX Removes Bahubali - WHY ?

 Some viewers on social media claim that parts of Kantara: A Legend-Chapter 1 resemble the Velpari novel. They believe Rishabh Shetty drew inspiration from the novel while shaping certain sequences in the film. This has created sharp discussions online. Director Shankar in his speech said that his next is Velpari. So Indian 3 is shelved ?  During his speech in a recent event as chief guest for the novel Velpari, which sold one lakh copies, Shankar said, “ Rajinikanth’s Enthiran was my dream project once. Now, my dream project is Velpari. Whenever a big-budget movie is made, people say it would be a grand venture like Chandralekha, but truly, Velpari will be as big, if not bigger, than that.” He further stated that the film based on Velpari merits to introduce new technologies to Indian cinema which will be on par with the standards of Hollywood biggies like Game of Thrones and Avatar. Velpari is reportedly based on Veera Yuga Nayagan Vel Pari, a historical novel penned by Su Venkatesan. The story centres around the mighty ruler Vel Pari and the opposition he faced from the three mighty Tamil dynasties – Chera, Chola, and Pandya.

During Dabba Cartel promotions streaming on Netflix, Jyotika who came with her hubby Suriya and two kids shared her experience of living under the same roof as another superstar in an interview with Screen. When the actor was asked about taking inspiration from her Netflix film, whether she and her husband, Suriya, leave for shoots with their dabbas, Jyotika responded with humour. Director Shankar has started preproduction work for Velpari and this has alarmed Indian 3 producers as the Director is not inclined to complete their film. Director Shankar {ress Release in full I wish to bring to public attention a recent action taken by the Directorate of Enforcement (ED), Chennai Zonal Office, in which they have provisionally attached three immovable properties of mine, based on baseless plagiarism allegations related to the film Enthiran (Robot). Till date, there is no communication from the Enforcement Directorate regarding the attachment, but the attachment was widely circulated in Media. This action not only misinterprets the legal facts but also represents a clear misuse of the legal process. It is crucial to highlight that the matter concerning these allegations was already thoroughly adjudicated by the Hon'ble High Court in Civil Suit No. 914/2010. The Court carefully examined the evidence and arguments from both sides, dismissing the claim filed by Aarur Tamil Nadan, which sought to declare him as the rightful copyright holder of the Enthiran story. Despite this clear judicial resolution, the Enforcement Directorate has proceeded with the attachment of my properties, relying on an independent report from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), and ignoring the binding judgment of the Hon'ble High Court in C.S.No.914/2010. Furthermore, the private complaint referred to by the Enforcement Directorate has already been stayed by the Hon'ble High Court, Chennai in the order passed in Crl.MP.No.13914/23 in Crl.Op.No.20452/23. Given these facts, I am deeply disheartened by the continued action of the ED, despite a clear legal ruling from the Civil Court, which categorically stated that no copyright violation took place. This overreach represents a blatant abuse of the legal process. I trust the authorities will review their actions and cease further proceedings in this matter. SRK and Vijay in one film - Atlee dream - Ram Charan film song leaked

Atlee said that he had not locked any script so far and for next four months he would be spending time with his new born son. He said that he had talks with Allu Arjun , Salam Khan , Ranbir Kapoor, Hrithik and back home, he is also in talks with Thalapathy Vijay. VFX leaks are playing havoc in Telugu filmdom. The makers of Prabhas – Kamal starrer Kalki investigated the leak of Prabhas clip that leaked on internet and they traced it to a VFX company that was looking their work. The producers have filed a legal case against the company who in turn dismissed an employee. Shankar directed film with Ram Charan saw an entire song leaked. A shooting footage of Mahesh Babu Guntur Kaaram found itself leaked.
