Kamal Haasan to unlearn Kannada History as Kollywood faces BAN

 .Kamal Haasan Kannada born out of Tamil remark is threatening to spill over to a larger movement against Tamil cinema screening in Karnataka. On the cards is a formula by which the Actor endorses the historian view that .

Both Kannada and Tamil evolved from Proto-Dravidian. Because of this shared ancestry, both the languages have similar grammar structures, word formation, and words with common etymology.

Kamal had already said that he was not qualified to talk about language history and on these lines a reply drafted in such a way that it got resolved.

Apart from Thug Life, many forthcoming Tamil biggies that are going to release will not find theatres in Karnataka. It means a loss of Rs 10- 20 crores. Yet another fall out would be that Karnataka based Production houses also cannot release any Tamil films in home State. A counter   move by Tamil filmdom will not hurt the Karnataka filmdom as except for Yash’s KGF, no Kannada film has done anything worthwhile at Tamil box office.

At the Karnataka Film Chamber meet, the unanimous view was that Shivanna s should have corrected Kamal on stage itself/ Some give him an excuse for not reacting - Veteran actress and former KFCC chief Jayamala also spoke up in Shivarajkumar's defense. "Shivanna is Dr Rajkumar's son. He was emotional and focussed on the event which was why he could not have understood the intensity of the comments made by Kamal. Also, he is still recovering after the surgery," she explained.
film producer Chinne Gowda said, "He was a guest at the event and possibly he might have not understood why the Tamil star said [those things]."

Shivanna has a question to those protesting Kamal’s remark at Chennai function where he was the guest and blaming him for not speaking up at the stage itself – He asks -  "It's a matter of pride for all of us that he invited me as the chief guest for his event. He was here just yesterday, among us. If anyone had concerns, they could have asked him directly - but no one did. I don’t know why people chose to remain silent then," . This was directed at the Bengaluru media who met Kamal. He had a word of advice -"Love for Kannada shouldn’t just appear when someone speaks up. It should be consistent - from the heart, always. I say this to all the media channels too: don’t just cheer for Kannada at events. Show that same passion all the time.". It all began at the audio launch of 'Thug Life' in Chennai on May 24, where Haasan, while complimenting Shiva Rajkumar, who was invited as a chief guest, said "Kannada was born out of Tamil". His statement faced huge backlash.

Kannada film Banaras Pan Indian release planned

 

Kaanada film Banaras starring politician Zameer Ahmed’s ( ex State Minister and Congress MLA) son, Zaid Khan, also features Sonal Monteiro as the female lead is to have a Pan Indian release. Tamil single from the film was released by Vishal father and movie moghul G K Reddy. According to Jayathirtha, the first track, Maaya Gange featuring the lead actors along with other artists like Sujay Shastry will represent the theme of the love drama, which is set in the backdrop of Kashi.

Jayathirtha’s Banaras has been extensively shot in Varanasi, including the 64 ghats. The makers have unveiled the song in Kannada and Malayalam, and will follow it up soon with the Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi versions.

Backed by Tilakraj Ballal, the film is currently in the post-production stage and has music scored by Ajaneesh B Loknath and cinematography by Advaitha Gurumurthy. As for the release, Jayathirtha says that he has been in discussions with various distributors across different languages and will soon fix the date.Jayathirtha, is the director of Olave Mandara, Beautiful Manasugalu and Bell Bottom, 

Tamil film "Address" praised by Kannada superstar Sivarajkumar!

The teaser of the recently released film "Address" starring actor Adarva under the direction of director Rajamohan has been garnering huge acclaim from the film industry and fans alike. Kannada superstar Sivarajkumar, who saw the teaser of the film in that manner, praised the director with great surprise, shared the teaser of the film on his social media page and released a video recording praising the film.

When a long time friend of director Rajamohan met him recently, I was asked about his "Address" film. The center of the story was very different. Showed me the teaser of the film. The teaser was so awesome. The title of the film was telling the story. This film will be the work of people who will make a difference. The scenes were all wonderfully filmed. Adarva played well. The team seems to have worked hard in the teaser itself. Said my congratulations on the huge success of the film.

I worked with Vijay Milton as an assistant to them for a long time. He is my guru on screen. Even after becoming a director the public he calls will see him work on films. Vijay Milton Sir is now keeping Kannada superstar Sivarajkumar with them and directing the film. I also worked on it. I knew Sivarajkumar beforehand and when he inquired about me, I showed him the teaser of my film. Surprised and asked all the things about the film and found out. He complimented me a lot and talked about this film to everyone on the set. It was a great pleasure to see a superstar in front of everyone with such meticulousness. But he also persistently listened to Tease and shared it on his social media page, praising the film and the crew and asking them to post a video and publish it. The actor, who is at the very top, praised our film so much that it has given him immense joy and excitement. The teaser of the movie Address has also been receiving rave reviews from fans. He said the film will definitely be a popular work that will meet everyone’s expectations.
