Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan and director Atlee's Jawan, which has created many new records in the history of Indian film industry, is currently shortlisted for the Hollywood Creative Alliance Award. With this, director Atlee has made a record as a Tamil director who has entered Hollywood.
Atlee is the director who gave a new shape to commercial films in Tamil cinema and turned leading stars into blockbuster heroes. Director Atlee made India look back with "Jawaan", which created a historical record in Tamil cinema collections and then starred Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan. Atlee, who started his journey in the film world with the blockbuster success of Raja Rani, reached the peak with films such as Theri, Mersal and Bigil, and now with 'Jawan' he has made a record as the first Tamil director to feature in Hollywood.
Directed by Atlee and presented by Red Chillies Entertainment, King Khan Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Jawaan' became a blockbuster hit in all leading languages of India. The film received 3.5 crore audience in theaters in India and grossed Rs 1080 crore, making it the first film in India.
This film, which has created many new historical achievements, has been shortlisted for the Hollywood Creative Alliance Award for the best films in the world, which is presented annually in Hollywood. Fans are excitedly celebrating the fact that a Tamil artist's work has been ranked among the world's best. They are also appreciating director Atlee.

Dunki features an ensemble cast, with colorful characters portrayed by exceptionally talented actors Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover, along with Shah Rukh Khan. A JIO Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Rajkumar Hirani Films presentation, produced by Rajkumar Hirani and Gauri Khan Written by Abhijat Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani, and Kanika Dhillon, Dunki is slated to release on December 2023.
Geetu Mohandas well
known for her performance in movies like ‘Thenkaspattanam‘, ‘Life Is Beautiful‘, ‘Rappakal‘ etc later moved on to direct few acclaimed movies winning
awards in different occasions. Her latest Hindi movie ‘Liars Dice‘ became India’s officially entry to the Oscars
tin 2015 (Best Foreign Language Film for
the 87th Academy Awards). She is now one of the few Malayalis who has made it

Film’s producer Mr Venkat K Narayana says, “We are
delighted to collaborate with Rocking Star Yash for our most ambitious project
till date. It took time because Yash and Geetu have left no stone unturned in

Mohandas said,”I’ve always experimented with my style of narratives . Although
Liars dice and Moothon were received well internationally, I’ve always craved
to find my own audience in my country . This project stemmed from that thought.
This film is an amalgamation of two opposite worlds and aesthetics in story

brilliant minds I have come across and I’m excited for our team to begin this
magical journey.``
Rocking Star Yash’s Toxic - A Fairy Tale for
Grown-ups, written and directed by Geetu Mohandas, will be co-produced by KVN
Productions and Monster Mind creations. The film will be released worldwide on
10th April, 2025.
