Ravi Mohan in LCU / Madharaasi hopes to be a Coolie in North/ Anushka does a Nayanthara

 The next project from LCU is Benz, with Lawrence playing the lead role and Nivin Pauly appearing as the main villain. Madhavan was onboarded as another lead in this film.

But the latest news in Tamil circles says that Madhavan walks out of this project/LCU due to date issues, and Ravi Mohan is selected as the replacement.

Reportedly, Lokesh Kanagaraj himself has narrated the character and convinced Ravi Mohan to act in Benz, and his character is also said to be continued in the next LCU projects, such as Kaithi 2 and Vikram 2. Ravi Mohan’s addition marks the third star entry into the LCU (Lokesh Kanagaraj Cinematic Universe), with the other two being Lawrence and Nivin Pauly.

Seeing that Coolie collected close to Rs 50 cr in North markets Madharaasi is taking the same route by agreeing to 8 week window for dubbed Hindi version on OTT so that national chains can screen them. Coolie collected this amount in Hindi because Sun Pictures went all out with publicity and plastered Metro trains in Mumbai with film posters and on TV. Madharaasi on other hand has zero publicity and hopes that North markets will receive them. Amaran Hindi got Rs 2.75 cr from 45 days run. Another factor is that the North Indian gang is shown as the baddies in the film like Tamils in Sri Lanka were the bad guys in Kingdom. Madharaasi is releasing as Dil Madharaasi in Hindi

Anushka Shetty’s Ghaati is slated for a grand release on September 5. The action drama directed by Krish Jagarlamudi is jointly produced by UV Creations and First Frame Entertainments. The release was postponed multiple times due to pending work, and finally, the movie is now set for release. Rajeev Reddy of First Frame Entertainments has now confirmed that the star actress won’t be attending the promotional events.

“While commencing the project, we discussed all the terms. She clearly informed us about her unavailability for promotions. It’s her personal choice, and we must respect that. She might not attend the pre-release event either. I don’t think it is a big problem. Only an actor of Anushka’s stature can pull off the Sheela character in Ghaati. We can’t imagine anyone other than Anushka in that role,” stated Rajeev Reddy.

The producer also added, “We strongly believe Anushka has the capability to pull audiences to the theatres. We shot the movie in the Andhra-Orissa border. Had we shot in the Telugu states, it would have been difficult to handle the crowd. While we were shooting in a small village in Orissa, about 1000 people came to see Anushka in the wee hours. A lathi charge also took place once. That is the kind of pull Anushka Garu has.”

Anushka Shetty shines as Sheelavathi. Her performance feels raw, strong, and deeply tied to the land, as if she belongs to the mountains themselves. Playing opposite her, Vikram Prabhu brings a calm strength that keeps the film firmly rooted. The world of Ghaati is built with care, Thota Tharani’s production design and Ram Kishan’s gripping action scenes make the story feel real and alive.

 Finally Gautham Vasudev Menon has ben able to get an investor to claear the debts of Dhruv Natchithram and in his own words the film should be in thetres by July- August. Fortunately Chiyaan has not changed a bit and as we learn GVM the director will be unlocked after this. Tirupur Subraamanian Exhibitors Chief had already said that the film will be given the widest possible . After this, GVM has 3 projects lined up- Karthi, Ravi Mohan, and Santhanam.

Ravi Mohan project script is fully penned by Vetrimaaran and producers are very eager to start it. Santhanam project is a proper family comedy entertainer. Karthi film is still in discussions.

“Only after the release of the film will I do my next work.” I haven’t even signed anything in acting as well. We’ve shown the film to the investor & he said the film is good. We are sorting out the legal issues now. July/August release for sure.”

Rashmika Mandanna has yet to make up her mind as whether she is Chennai’s darling or Hyderabad but all the same she is not a firebrand Kannadiga. Many netizens from Karnataka pointed out that Rashmika was born and raised in Karnataka, where she also completed her education. They felt her statement downplayed her roots. This isn’t the first time Rashmika has faced criticism for similar reasons. In the past, she referred to Hyderabad as feeling like home and admitted she hadn’t watched the Kannada blockbuster Kantara.

These instances have led to accusations that she’s distancing herself from her native culture to appeal more broadly to non-Kannada audiences.

Parasakthi ; Fresh SK v/s Sudha / Ravi Mohan Producer / Kubera Pre Release Profit

 Latest buzz on Parasakthi is that SK ( Sivakarthikeyan ) has asked Director Sudha Kongara to cut some scenes shot with Ravi Mohan. These scenes are likely to make Ravi Mohan overshadow SK. Actor Ravi Mohan Produces and Stars in ‘BroCode’

 Ravi Mohan turns producer with his upcoming film titled BroCode, in which he also plays the lead role, under the direction of Karthik Yogi.

One of Tamil cinema’s leading stars, Ravi Mohan, will headline the new film BroCode, playing a pivotal protagonist role. The film marks his debut as a producer.

Directed by Karthik Yogi, known for films like Dikkiloona and Vadakkupatti Ramasamy, BroCode will feature Ravi Mohan in the lead role. Acclaimed actor S.J. Suryah also plays a significant character in the film, alongside four leading female actors.

Cinematography is by Kalaiselvan Sivaji, known for his work in Por Thozhil. The music is composed by Harshavardhan, the composer behind hits like Animal and Arjun Reddy. Editing will be handled by Pradeep E. Raghav, and art direction is by A. Rajesh.

Promised as a fun-filled entertainer with elements of slapstick comedy, the film is being produced under the banner Ravi Mohan Studios by actor Ravi Mohan himself.

Speaking about the project, director Karthik Yogi said:

“When I narrated the story to Ravi Mohan, he thoroughly enjoyed it and immediately came forward to produce it. The film features scenes rich in slapstick humor and is designed to offer a unique cinematic experience to the audience.”

The official announcement regarding the four leading female actors will be made soon, and the film’s shoot is scheduled to commence in September, according to the production team.

Meanwhile, Ravi Mohan is also acting in Parasakthi directed by Sudha Kongara and Karate Babu directed by Ganesh K. Babu.

Aravind Swami as Major Srinivasan / Aarti is still Jeyam Ravi wife/ Ravi- Kenishaa public apperance

Arvind Swami, an acclaimed actor and director, has left an indelible mark on Tamil and Hindi cinema. The actor’s character poster from Anupam Kher’s directorial Tanvi The Great is unveiled where he will be seen playing the role of Major Srinivasan reports Bollywood Hungama.

Known for his effortless charm and nuanced portrayal, Swami will be seen playing a very important role in the film. The makers earlier announced Iain Glen, Boman Irani and Jackie Shroff joining the cast along with Shubhangi.

Talking about the role Arvind Swami shared, “It was such a pleasure to work with Anupam as a director. This subject is so close to his heart and I am glad that I could play a small part in this project. This is a film about hope, compassion, perseverance and the victory of the human spirit. Aarti, former wife of actor Ravi Mohan ( Jeyam Ravi), continues to retain her relationship status on Instagram. Her bio reads "Married to Jayamravi_official". She has also retained her surname Aarti Ravi. Last year in June Aarti made headlines after she deleted all photos with Ravi and their sons, Aarav and Ayaan.

.Ravi Mohan and Singer Kenishaa, came together to attend the marriage festivities of Producer Ishari Ganesh’s daughter wedding that took place today. Ravi Mohan formerly Jeyam Ravi and his wife Aarti marriage broke up over the former seeing Kenishaa. The duo claimed that they were not a couple in love and that it was a professional one. Kenishaa is a therapist and Mohan is her client was her defense. Talking about link-up reports with Kenishaa, he said, “How did these rumours about this person start? Why should anyone drag a third person unnecessarily into this issue? I plan to start a spiritual healing centre with Kenishaa and we are looking for some suitable location. My divorce has nothing to do with this.”

Ravi shifted to Mumbai and divorce has since taken place. This is the first public appearance by the duo after the divorce. Ravi and Kenishaa wore matching outfits for the wedding. While the actor was seen in a traditional shirt and dhoti, Kenishaa wore  a gold-coloured saree with embroidery on the border.

Ravi Mohan to turn Director ? / Manju Warrier to Produce/ Ranya Rao with Karnataka CM

Manju Warrier will be once again producing and acting in Beyond The Border Lines, directed by three-time National Award-winning Malayalam filmmaker Bijukumar Damodaran, popularly known as Dr Biju. The film is about an archaeology team stranded at the Indo-China border and is set against the geopolitical border tensions of the region. Beyond The Border Lines was announced at the second edition of India’s Cinevesture International Film Festival (CIFF) as part of the CinéV-CHD Market lineup, featuring 22 diverse projects from established and emerging filmmakers. In this project, films that are produced are tied up with investors and distribution lines. Three other Malayalam projects have also been unveiled as part of the lineup. These include Kunjila Mascillamani's Guptam (The Last of Them Plagues). The film is produced by Jeo Baby ( the Great Indian Kitchen) and Kani Kusurti ( All we Imagine Light). Kunjila directed a film for the anthology Freedom Fight produced by Jeo Baby and streamed on Sony Liv. Director Krishand's Masthishka Maranam (A Frankenbiting of Simon’s Memories) is another project Krishand got Kerala State award for Aavasavyuham and also directed Purusha Pretham and was co producer off Gaganachari .Jeo Baby's film is Punishment. Manju has previously co-produced films such as Chathur Mukham, A'hr, and Lalitham Sundaram. Dr Biju's previous directorial was Adrishya Jalakangal, starring Tovino Thomas in the lead role.

The latest news is that Hero Ravi Mohan turns into a director. His brother Raja is a very sucessful Director of Tamil and Telugu films.Currently, he is busy with two films: one as the lead hero titled Karathey Babu, and in the 2nd one, he is playing the villain role. The film is Sivakarthikeyan’s Parasakthi, directed by Sudha Kongara.
