 Suriya 45 and Dhruv Vikram are headed for a Deepavali clash, as per trade circles. Dhruv- Nari Selvaraj film Bison has already locked October 17 as release date. Though Retro for Suriya has proved that he has the opening and pull at box office, it did not be his comeback after Ganguva disaster. The R J Balaji film will in all probability do the trick as the Director is apt in bring out the box office potential of an actor. Surya’s last Deepavali release in theatres was 7 AM Arivu and later Sooraraai Pottru on OTT. With no Vijay- Ajith- SK in line, Deepavali would be the best chance for Suriya to take a bash at the box office. Trisha who is part of many box office hits is the leading lady in Balaji- Surya film. On her birthday, Trisha Krishnan's elegant first look from Thug Life has been revealed. Fans praised her raw appearance, while she shared inspiring experiences working with Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan. The film releases in theatres on June 5. In the poster, we can see Trisha sitting on steps, dressed in a simple white shirt and a flowing red skirt, with a calm and thoughtful expression. Soon after the release, fans couldn't keep calm and lauded the raw look. During the pre-release event, Trisha talked about her character and said, "I am not there in the gangster portions, but I've heard it has come out really well."

As per the latest update by producers Prathyangira Cinemas, Good Bad Ugly has grossed $900K in North America in 3 days. This means there has been an impressive 85% growth in the last 48 hours. Today, Good Bad Ugly will officially hit the $1 million mark,

Unlike most Indian movies of 2025, including Sikandar and Sky Force, Good Bad Ugly is showcasing good trends in the international circuit. It has accumulated estimated earnings of 37.35 crore gross so far.

Good Bad Ugly is currently the third highest Kollywood grosser of 2025 worldwide. In three days, Ajith Kumar starrer has garnered 114.09 crore gross. Take a look at the box office breakdown below:

It is now only 22.32 crores away from beating Ajith Kumar’s last film, Vidaamuyarchi, and grabbing the #2 place among Kollywood grossers of 2025. The action thriller had grossed 136.41 crores in its lifetime. 

Bison makers let out a SpotifySpotify playlist picture. The playlist, which surfaced on Reddit and Instagram on April 11, reportedly featured a profile picture showing a couple kissing under a blue moon. The photo resembles Anupama and Dhruv Vikram. But there are doubts whether anybody would keep a personal kissing picture on a public playlist. Plus, there are also speculations that this must be a deliberate attempt to bring publicity to their upcoming Tamil film named “Bison.” The film is being directed by Mari Selvaraj. Some say it could be a picture from their movie.Anupama Parameswaran, on the other hand, is readying for the release of her Telugu film, Paradha.

Actress Anupama Parameswaran had always made sure to stay away from link-up rumours until recently. ..She and cricketeer Jasprit Bumrah were said to be seeing each other and she termed it as good friends. However a post by her singnaled that she had broken up with Bumrah. Her post ; "Stay away from Me!! The pieces of my broken heart can hurt you... It might heal but the scars would remain!!" . This post came two days before Bumrah got married to TV anchor Sanjana Ganesan. After that to signal that she has moved on in life , Anupama shared a song on her Instagram. Applause Entertainment, in collaboration with Neelam Studios has unveiled the striking first look of Bison, an electrifying sports drama helmed by the acclaimed Mari Selvaraj. Starring Dhruv Vikram in a transformative role as a Kabaddi player, alongside Anupama Parameswaran, the film is inspired by true events and brings to life a gripping tale of passion, resilience, and triumph against all odds.

Prithviraj joined Mahesh Babu at the Odisha shooting schedule. Mahesh Babu getup and a long shot of both at the sets were leaked. Prithviraj will be back on March 16 in Kochi to complete a few last minute post production work. Censoring is over and now the runup to March 27th is to start. After Empuran, he is to report for Santosh Trophy directed by Vipin das of Guruvayoor Nadyil fame. It is produced by Stephen and Prithviraj Productions.

Dhanush directed Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK) will be arriving on Prime Video on 21st March and it’s expected to receive a big response after OTT release. NEEK was a commercial failure due to its poor release date. NEEK started its journey on a fair note by earning 1.15 crores. However, since word-of-mouth was mixed, it failed to show a desired jump over the weekend. On weekdays, things went downhill, and a total of 6.38 crores came on board. During the second week, things became worse, with the collection reaching a low of 7 lakh on a single day. n the second week, NEEK earned a dismal 1.05 crores. Overall, it raked in a poor total of 7.43 crore net at the Indian box office in 14 days, as per Sacnilk. The budget of the film is Rs 12 crores.
