Meet Sara Arjun Child actor who is Ranveer Love Interest / Dhruv Vikram in Hindi film Kill remake

 

Sara acted in Malayalam film Annmariya Kalippilanu and Mani Ratnam's magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan Parts 1 and 2, where she played the younger version of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's character, Nandini.Sara jumped into the spotlight in 2011 at only six years old when she appeared in the Tamil film Deiva Thirumagal, in which she starred as Nila, the daughter of a man with special needs played by Vikram. Sara's emotional performance earned her great reviews from critics and established her as one of India's best child actors.

Sara is the daughter of acclaimed actor Raj Arjun, known for his roles in Secret Superstar and Thalaivii. By 2023, she was reported to be India's highest-paid child actress, earning as much as Rs 10 crore before the age of 18.Several netizens are complaining about the 20-year age gap (Ranveer is 40, Sara is 20). However, many others are urging fans to hold their judgement until the film is released

In Dhurandhar, Sara takes on her first complete leading role in Bollywood, sharing screen time with Ranveer Singh. Dhurandhar is an action-packed spy thriller based on actual events that also stars Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal. Scheduled to be released on 5 December 2025, it will be a significant milestone for Sara.

Dhruv Vikram, the son of Tamil actor Chiyaan Vikram, is yet to find a good hit as a lead hero. The latest news is that the actor is all set to do the remake of Bollywood’s blockbuster Kill movie.

Reportedly, it will be directed by Telugu Director Ramesh Varma (of Khiladi and Ratsasan Telugu remake fame). Interestingly, Dhruv made his debut with the Arjun Reddy remake in Tamil, but it did not work at all.

He also acted with his father, Vikram, in Mahaan, directed by Karthik Subbaraj, which was directly released on OTT. Currently, Dhruv is working with Mari Selvaraj’s film called Bison, which was announced for an October 17 release.

So, the buzz is that Dhruv Vikram will star in the remake of Bollywood’s blockbuster Kill movie. Nowadays, remakes are not working much at the box office. So, we should wait and see how this film fares.

Released in 2023, Kill is an action drama directed by Nagesh Bhat. The film centers on an NSG commando, who takes on a dangerous robbery gang and protects commoners during a train journey. 

The film features Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, and Tanya Maniktala, and it is known for its high-octane violence and gripping storyline. 

Nivin Pauly with Karthi 29 / Sai to compose for Shane Nigam Tamil- Malayalam

Nivin Pauly to join Karthi who  is set to star in his 29th film, tentatively titled Marshal, directed by Taanakkaran fame Tamizh. The film is rumored to be a high-budget sea adventure, with shooting expected to take place along Tamil Nadu’s coastal regions. Vadivelu is reportedly part of the cast, while Kalyani Priyadarshan is in talks for the female lead. Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, an official announcement is expected soon. Nivin Pauly is playing antagonist in Benz with Raghava Lawrence in the lead. After charming audiences with Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum (PAV), director–editor Akhil Sathyan is back, this time casting Nivin Pauly as the star of Sarvam Maya. Slated for a December release, Sarvam Maya introduces a spectral twist to the festive season. Preity Mukundan and Riya Shibu join Pauly as the female leads, while veterans like Aju Varghese, Janardanan and Vineeth add gravitas to the ensemble. Screenwriter Raghunath Paleri also steps in front of the camera,

Director Girish AD is returning to the director’s chair with Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, a new Malayalam film starring Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju in lead roles. Produced by the powerhouse trio Fahadh Faasil, Dileesh Pothan, and Syam Pushkaran under their Bhavana Studios banner, this project marks the filmmaker’s second collaboration with the production house after the sensational success of Premalu. The film is expected to go on floors in September.

Coolie Overseas Trade Bets HUGE

 Rajinikanth’s much-anticipated film Coolie has already made headlines by creating history in the overseas market, even before its theatrical release. The North America theatrical rights for Coolie have been acquired by Prathyangira Cinemas for a staggering ₹30 crore, marking the highest-ever deal for a Kollywood film in the region. This surpasses all previous benchmarks, including Jailer, which grossed an impressive $7.2 million and held the title of the top-performing Tamil film in North America.

For Coolie to achieve breakeven, the film now needs to rake in over $7.5 million — a tough milestone, especially with the release of War 2 around the same time. However, trade circles are confident that the combination of Rajinikanth’s u star power and the movies mass appeal will break all the records.

Industry experts believe that Coolie has the potential to become the first Tamil film to cross the $10 million mark in North America, provided it receives strong positive talk after the release. With tremendous hype and solid pre-release business, Coolie is not just a film — it’s an event that could redefine the market for Tamil cinema in the international arena.

All the leading distributors tried to buy the rights, but finally, Hamsini Entertainments bought the overseas rights for an outright and record price of 85 Cr. Rajinikanth’s Coolie overseas final figures result in an industry-wide shock.

The film needs to collect around 25 million to achieve breakeven overseas, and no Kollywood film has collected 25 million till now. 

Cooli is increasing its buzz among fans with continuous updates. Recently, the film’s first single received a big response, and today, the team released the first look of Aamir Khan.

Unlike Vikram, which had one dominant superstar, Coolie features a massive multi-starrer lineup including Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, and Upendra. Balancing such star power while making Aamir’s cameo stand out will be no easy task.

ndustry insiders suggest that while Aamir’s role may not reach the same shock level as Rolex, it will carry a strong punch. Rolex came as a shock as no one knew it before the release but here Aamir’s cameo has been well publicized. His entry reportedly comes after major twists involving Nagarjuna and Upendra’s characters.

Chinmayi's OPEN TALK in ASIANET / Thug Life OTT gets Warm welcome

 Singer Chinmayo first apperance in a Malaylam TV show is scheduled for Saturday on Asianet reality show Star Singer with K S Chitra as the Chief Judge. The promo shows the singer mentioning about the time when she felt it was end of her career and objection to giving the ONV award. All this are related to Vairamuthu with whim she is having a running battle. Chinmayi has now slammed Nayanthara and her hubby for using choreographer Jani Master for the film produced by them. Jani Master is an accussed in exploiting his woman colleague. Chinmayi Sripaada also shared her opinion on the matter. She said "Jani is out on conditional bail involving a minor’s sexual assault.

Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan TR, and Trisha Krishnan's Thug Life which released in theatres on June 5, amid high expectations, went on to become one of the biggest debacles in recent times. Directed by Mani Ratnam, the film failed to impress the audience, and ended up earning less than Rs 100 crore at the box office.

Following the film's failure, it is now streaming on OTT earlier than expected. Although several films follow an 8-week window between theatrical and OTT release, Netflix appears to have changed the norm for Thug Life. The film is currently streaming on Netflix.

Thug Life OTT Verdict: Fans Say Kamal Haasan's Film Isn't As Bad As It Was Projected

Now that it is online, fans are taking to social media to share their reviews. One user said it is not as bad as it seems in the reviews. He said "Do watch and realise it is avg to bad but not the worst as described in the reviews."

Another netizen said "For sure going to get positive reviews in OTT Such a brilliant technical peak movie". A fan said " #ThugLife is #KamalHaasan's KABALI.Not a bad film like INDIAN 2 but not an interesting one Been a decade since we saw Mani Ratnam mark films #ComebackManiRatnam.

A user said it isn't that bad, but he did find some problems with the film. "Netflix la #ThugLifeOnNetflix paathaachu.... Oru alavukku nallaa thaan irukku... Yen itha adi adichaanga nu theriyala... Sila thevai illaatha aani as per my opinion."

The action drama also stars Aishwarya Lekshmi, Nasser, Joju George, Ali Fazal, and others. It tells the story of an gangster whose close aide turns against him due to a personal vendetta. Featuring music by AR Rahman, the film is jointly produced by Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan.

Prabhu- Suresh Chandra to Produce Ajith Next / Tamil Hit- Flop Report

 Ajith’s next with Adhik Ravichandran as Director is to be produced by Prabhu in association with the actor’s manager Suresh Chandra. This is the latest buzz as the speculation about the Director has died down. Valai Pechu reports that right from paying hotel charges for director’s discussion to mediating talks with Anirudh, Suresh is doing it. Another report said that Sivaji Productions is to be Producer.  Ajith and Siavji Productions  collaborated on the film "Aasal" in 2010, and there were also plans for a film with director Gautham Menon, which didn't materialize. Additionally, there were discussions about Ajith potentially starring in a remake of Sivaji Ganesan's "Puthiya Paravai" under the Sivaji Productions banner, though this project didn't come to fruition. 

Adhik is son in law of Prabhu and the latter turning Producer is possible. Vijay  made two of his managers  PT Selvakumar and Jagadeesan as Producers. On these lines Suresh Chandra could be executive Producer of Ajith film. Apart from Sivaji Productions, family owns Sivaji Films the banner under which only Sivaji Ganesan acted.

Ram Kumar eldest brother of Prabhu and partner of Sivaji Productions was in the news for his son Dushyanth’s debt with a financier over a film that did not release. The issue went to court and hit headlines as the ancestral house owned by Sivaji Ganesan and now by Prabhu was ordered to be auctioned. Subsequently the aution notice was withdrawn . Whether the debt has been cleared is not known.

Adhik directed "Good Bad Ugly"  starring Ajith Kumar  was a commercial hit  earning ₹212 crores worldwide.  However trade circles say the film's financial performance is considered a flop as it failed to break even and incurred a loss due to high mounting costs.

Prithviraj - Kajol Hindi film on July 25 / Dhanush- Kirti Hindi to have Tamil version/ Coolie Audio

 Sarzameen OTT release: Prithviraj Sukumaran, Kajol and Ibrahim Ali Khan starrer is set to premiere on OTT platform on July 25. The high-octane action-thriller, directed by Kayoze Irani, the son of Boman Irani, will come directly on OTT without any theatrical release. Detailing the filmmaking experience, Kayoze Irani stated, "Working with phenomenal artists like Prithviraj Sir, Kajol Ma'am, and Ibrahim each of whom brought such emotional depth and honesty to their performances has been nothing short of a privilege...The emotional  battlefield in Sarzameen is just as powerful and consuming as the one unfolding on the frontlines," ANI reported citing press release.

Dhanush is pining his hopes big on his Hindi film Tere Ishk Mein to do the trick at Tamil box office too. For this A Rahman is composing the music with any eye on the Tamil audience too apart from Hindi. As the subject is a love subject and has all ingredients to have a mass appeal , the Kollywood market could be .receptive. Backed by powerhouse producers Gulshan Kumar, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar (T-Series), and Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma (Colour Yellow Productions), Tere Ishk Mein reunites Rai with Dhanush after their celebrated collaboration in Raanjhanaa. The film is set to explore the complexities of love with Rai’s signature storytelling, while marking Kriti Sanon’s first outing with both the director and Dhanush.

According to official updates, Tere Ishk Mein will hit cinemas worldwide in both Hindi and Tamil languages on November 28, 2025, positioning it as one of the most awaited releases of the year.

Dhanush Kuberaa collected ₹48.6 crore during the first weekend. During the first week in theatres, Kuberaa's Telugu variant earned ₹48.7 crore and ₹18.38 crore in Tamil. In Kannada, the movie minted ₹20,00,000, and ₹1.72 crore in Hindi. The movie's Malayalam version failed to earn anything at the box office. After Day 11, the domestic collection stood at Rs 81 crore.

Coolie audio launch in Chennai is set for is said to be happening at Nehru Stadium on 27th July. Also, the team will likely attend events in Telugu and Hindi as well, because the makers aim for pan-India success and big numbers are also involved in business. The Coolie Rights for two Andhra States is bought by Asian Group [Asian Cinemas + Suresh Babu + Dil Raju]. Deal closed at 44 Cr, excluding the GST. This is a very huge price and the 3rd biggest business film in the Telugu States in dubbed films after KGF-2 and 2 Point 0. 

Nag Vamsi who distributed blockbuster Devara after failing to get Coolie Andhra- TS rights has bagged War 2 releasing on same day. It has NTR Jr along with Hrithik Roshan in the lead. Coolie will not feature in IMAX screebs but War 2 will.
