Thalapathy Vijay's Sun TV interview v/s STR Bigg Boss Ultimate Finale

As `Beast' release date ( April 13 ) draws near, Star Vijay is readying for a live telecast of Bigg Boss Ultimate on April 10th and simaltenously have it run on Disney Hotstar to take on Sun TV that is telecasting Vijay interview on same date. Bigg Boss Ultimate Finale will strea on Disney from 6.30 PM in Disney and a few minutes gap the event will telecast on Star Vijay at the same time. STR a confirmed Thala fan has had direct clashes with Vijay at the box office. In 2004 Diwali- Kathal Ayivithuley of STR- Charmi v/s Vijay Bhagwati. Both ran for 100 days but latter was termed a hit. Next was Pongal 2006- Vijay's Aaadh v/s STR's Saravana. STR won.Incidentally both were Telugu remakes. Last direct clash was in November 2012 when Vijay's Thupakki and STR's Poda Podi released. Poda Podi was Vignesh Shivan's ( Nayan's BF) first directorail and Varalaxmi Saratkumar's first heroine film. Thupakki was a block buster. Later during the release of Vaalu, Vijay publicly supported STR in a dispute with te producer. After that STR called Vijay his Anna and TR attended Vijay's film audio launch. Coincidentally, both actors were launched by their father - director and in 1984, both the actors made their debut as child actors. STR was then 6 yrs old. As Vijay is coming with the interview on Sun TV and a first publicised after 10 years for a channel, it will have a captive audience. So far Vijay's film's audio release function would be coming on TV. Promos show Vijay answeing some questions not related to Beast like Why did you come on a cycle to vote when you have four cars at home ? . Why did you stop meeting press in the past few years ? As far as I know the reason being that the press meet that Vijay convened last was to celeberate Velayudtham ( Telugu remake) sucess meet. He gave a one gm coin to all press members who turned up. I was not present and instead my reporter was present. Next day, a group that were down riding Vijay's films on twitter by putting box office figures to show it was a flop got annoyed. Reason being that one of the invitees was a self styled industry tracker who put out figures according to the money he got from the producer. He took money and put out figures to show that Vijay film was a record breaker.Here again, he had a package deal by which he got publicity for the hero in a website that was fairly popular then. Result was that tweets came out that box office figures that came out were bought by Vijay for one gm gold coin and even a photo of the coin was posted. Since then Vijay shut doors to the press ( public meetings, I mean).

Vimala Raman, a model from Australia, was introduced by K Balchander in Poi. She acted with Cheran in Raman Thedia Seethai and found fame in Malayalam films with Mohanlal -Mammooty Dilip in films like 'Pranayakalam,' 'College Kumaran,' 'Time,' 'Oppam,' and 'Romeo.' The lovers had posted photos of holidaying in Maldives. -

Sunainaa as Regina in thriller

Sunainaa who wowed us all with powerful performances in films such as “Neerparavai” and one of her most recent effort in the anthology “Sillu Karupatti”, is making her comeback with a multilingual movie titled as “Regina”, touted to be a female-centric film. The movie is bankrolled by debutante producer Sathish Nair of “Yellow Bear Production LLP” from Coimbatore.

The feature is directed by Domin DSilva, who has in the past, thrown his weight behind films such as “Paipin Chuvattile Pranayam” and “Star”. Elaborating on the film, DSilva says that the movie will be a female-centric stylish thriller. “It is about an ordinary homemaker achieving extraordinary things, just like a fish moving against the flow. Regina will be an engaging thriller,” he said further. Sathish Nair is the music composer for the movie. He will be scoring music for the feature, banking on his earlier experience of working on singles that have been released through his label “SN Musicals”. The lyrics for the songs are penned by Yugabarathi, Vivek Velmurugan, Vijayan Vincent and Ijaz.R Pavan K Pavan is the director of cinematography while Kamarudin is the art director. Toby John will do the editing while the costumes will be by Aegan. Regina is a multilingual shot in Tamil and released in Hindi, Malayalam and Telugu.

A couple going to Cherrapunji in Meghalaya as tourists gets in a situation to stay there. "No Entry" is a thrilling screenplay that tells the story of how the couple escapes from a herd of humans hunting dogs. Cherrapunji, a tourist destination in Meghalaya, is one of the fascinadoras destinations in the map of the tourist of India. The adventure scenes of men escaping from dogs trapped among rogue dogs in a bamboo house built in the middle of the forest are vividly filmed. Andrea is really a dog lover so she has acted with dogs very easily, without fear anywhere in the film. The dogs were given 25 days of special training. This film will give you a new experience that has not been seen in Tamil cinema till now. Launched before COVID, The film has overcome many hurdles and is all set to release. Many scenes in the film have been done with visual effects and CG in parallel to Hollywood. This will give a new experience to the fans in Tamil. Actress Andrea will play the lead role along with Ranya Rao, Aarav Kannadasan, Manas, Jayashree and many other stars. The film is produced by Sridhar. Composer Aziz composes the music and Ramesh Chakraborty does the cinematography.

The entire team was involved in a vigorous pre-production work that included director Tamizh’s travel across 40 places in Tamil Nadu & Kerala for the sake of the right location. Finally, he zeroed in a school in Vellore that looked perfect for his story backdrop. Lots of homework and hard work have been exerted towards the project.

In particular, the parade scenes demanded intense training that made the director opt for Retired army officers, Garrisons & police instructors instead of actors. Director Tamizh is greatly appreciated by the producers for handling the plethora of new faces. In particular, he has completed this big-budget movie with so many artists in just a span of 50 days.

Actor Vikram Prabhu was very much impressed after listening to the exceptionally brilliant narration and his characterization. Critically acclaimed filmmaker-actor Lal is playing another lead role in this movie. It is noteworthy that director Tamizh kick-started the Taanakkaran scripting process from Lal’s characterization, which is as powerful as the protagonist.
The multi-faceted actor MS Bhaskar will win raving reviews for his heart-touching characterization. Anjali Nair, who plays the female lead isn’t appearing in a blink-and-miss ladylove role but rather has a pivotal prominence throughout the movie.

Madhesh Manickam embarks on his journey as cinematographer with this movie. His insatiable dedication towards this movie was evident with his non-stop editing work for eight days for one particular parade scene.

Art director Raghavan has played a vital role in shaping Taanakkaran perfectly. Even during the director’s location scouting process, Raghavan traveled along with him to prepare and deliver a spellbinding visual treat so that even the smallest object looks natural and not mere set property.

Music director Ghibran’s contribution will be the ultimate beautification of this movie. After watching the rushes, he dedicated 6 months to the background score of this movie.

After The Kashmir Files, producer next is Ravi Teja Tiger Nageswara Rao !!!

After minting money with The Kashmir Files, producer Abhishek next is with Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja will be doing his first ever Pan India project titled Tiger Nageswara Rao to be directed by Vamsee and produced prestigiously by Abhishek Agarwal under Abhishek Agarwal Arts banner, while Tej Narayan Agarwal presents it. This is going to be biggest budgeted movie in Ravi Teja's career. Tiger Nageswara Rao will have its grand launching event on Ugadi Day (April 2nd) in Novatel at HICC, Madhapur, in presence of the film’s core team. The film's pre-look will be out at 12:06 PM on Ugadi. It’s a dream project for producer Abhishek Agarwal who made grand entry in Bollywood with the blockbuster Pan India film The Kashmir Files.

Tiger Nageswara Rao is a periodic film in era of 1970’s based on real incidents of a notorious and courageous thief of South India and the people of Stuartpuram. Ravi Teja undergoes complete makeover to play the powerful role. His body language, diction and getup will be completely different and it will be never before character for the actor.

Director Vamsee locked the script and he too worked on the subject like his dream project that will be made in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages.

The life story of ‘Tiger’ Nageswara Rao is a perfect cinema material and Ravi Teja, who best suits for playing such mass and authoritative roles, is obviously the right choice.

The film’s title poster garnered massive response and it alone raised curiosity on the film that will be packed with high intense action sequences. Given the story is set in 70s, popular technicians are brought in to be part of this project.

It’s going to be very visually brilliant with R Madhie ISC and GV Prakash Kumar handling camera and music departments respectively. Avinash Kolla is going to be the production designer. Srikanth Vissa is the dialogue writer, Mayank Singhaniya is the co-producer.
