Titled Mahaan, the film stars Vikram, Dhruv Vikram, Simran, Vani Bhojan and Bobby Simhaa in pivotal roles.  Era Saravanan’s directorial Udanpirappe is reported to be an emotional family and village drama.  The movie display's bond shared between the two siblings, who are separated due to a clash in their opinion.The film features Jyothika, M. Sasikumar, Samuthirakani, and Soori. Sargunam, Mathangi’s (Jyothika) husband insists on following the law , Vairavan (Sasikumar) believes that justice can be got only if fought over. The rift between both the characters, Sargunam and Vairavan aggravates and Mathangi’s efforts seem wasted. The suspense is that will the character of Mathangi succeed in uniting her family in this emotional drama. Suriya and Jyothika of 2D Entertainment are the producers of the feature film and the music is composed by D Imman. It will be a Amazon Prime release.

From such a village four friends who have no experience of selfless city life come to Chennai to live in a precarious situation. They marvel at the injustices that take place here. Why is it that no one here is so selfish as to say that we who have lived in the village without knowing anything should tap into this? This  movie is the answer to their question as to what their situation is and why they refuse to listen.

 Ganga Amaran back to acting after 8years. Playa a pivotal role in Arun Vijay's untitled film directed by Hari (Singham fame). Amaran is to younger crowd the father of director Venkat Prabhu. To veterans, he is brother of Illaiyaraja. Amaran had acted back in 2013. He has directed 19 films and some were hits both musically and at box office. Prahalad Raghavendran compostion a love anthem on I Day relesaed by Unnikrishanan and Swarnamalya

Singer Unnikrishnan and actress Swarnamalya have released a lyrical video for 'Kaartile'. Independence songs and albums have started appearing in India as well as in the West. The trend has begun here as well, with short films and albums being a preview for a screen entry into Hollywood cinema. 'Kaartile' is a solo song composed by Prahalad Raghavendra as a preview of his talent in that genre.

As a singer he has sung with many composers. Now From singer to composer He has also composed music for short films, web series and commercials.Mukundan Raman has written his solo song 'Kaartile'. Pradeep Kumar is singing.

The song is based on the melody of Rithikaulai and is a sweet love anthem. It was recorded at the Music Magic Institute studio.

Unnikrishnan's song 'Color Kanave' has been sung in his music before this. Subsequent songs are about to come out.

Filming of 'Production No.1' produced by Munivelan is in full swing in Chennai. The film stars Shilpa Manjunath in the lead role in 'Kali' and 'Ispade Raja  Hridhay Rani'. The film stars 'Black Sheep' Nandini, Bharatha Naidu and Preethi in the lead roles. Karthik Raja sets the music for the film. Sudarshan is the cinematographer for the film, which is being shot by Christopher.
