A few hours ago, Dawn Pictures posted a tweet on X celebrating the 15 million views for the first single Adi Alaye from Sivakarthikeyan’s recent release Parasakthi. The post highlighted the word organic in capital letters and ended with a sarcastic IYKYK. Though Dawn Pictures did not name anyone, netizens felt the tweet indirectly mocked the Thalapathy Katcheri view bot controversy. This led to immediate backlash from Vijay fans and neutral users. Many users said production houses should act responsibly and avoid triggering fan fights. They argued that such comments harm the industry and create unnecessary hate between fan groups. Some also fear that this behaviour might affect Sivakarthikeyan’s growth. They feel he is slowly becoming a major Kollywood star, and controversies like this may attract unwanted negativity. Meanwhile, Vijay fans pointed out that Adi Alaye currently shows only 13 million views, not 15 million. They shared screenshots to claim that Dawn Pictures posted incorrect numbers before mocking others. They warned that Sivakarthikeyan may face heavy backlash because of this tweet. According to them, the production house should have shared accurate figures before criticising anyone. Overall, the Dawn Pictures tweet has triggered a heated fan fight on social media. Many people are actively sharing their opinions and taking sides in the debate.

YouTube responds to bot allegations

A user on X shared a screenshot showing that the song received over 3 million views within an hour, sparking speculation about automated traffic. Responding to the claim, YouTube explained that the platform’s system temporarily slows or freezes view counts while verifying if they come from real users. “We have a system in place to verify engagement metrics (likes, views, subs) if they're from legitimate sources. View counts can slow down or freeze as we confirm they're real (from humans, not computer programs),” the platform said.

Another fan suggested that the video might have been mistakenly flagged as a political campaign video, given Vijay’s political debut with Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK). “YouTube flagged ThalapathyKacheri as a campaign video for Mr. Vijay and TVK. Hence, Google Ads policies froze the view count. After review, the views started reflecting again,” the fan wrote. YouTube seemed to confirm this, adding, “To maintain a fair & positive experience across YouTube, we have systems that verify if views are valid & should be counted.”

Soon after the release of the song on Saturday, fans of the TVK chief were seen celebrating across Madurai, dancing to the track and waving posters of Vijay. The song, choreographed by Sekhar, pays homage to the star’s iconic moves from films like Ghilli, Thuppakki, Mersal, and Master.

Jana Nayagan to release on Pongal 2026

With Jana Nayagan set to be Vijay’s final film before he transitions fully into politics, expectations are sky-high. Backed by Venkat K Narayana under KVN Productions, the film is slated for a grand worldwide release on January 9, 2026, coinciding with the Pongal weekend. The film also stars Pooja Hegde and Mamitha Baiju in pivotal roles.  The film will be clashing with Prabhas's The RajaSaab.

Dulquer Said No To Vijay son / Chinmaya Backs Rahman in Jani Master case

 

Thalapathy Vijay’s son Jason Sanjay’s maiden film as director was announced yesterday. It is titled Sigma, and Sundeep Kishan is the lead of the action saga.

Now, an intriguing story has been buzzing that before finalising Sundeep, the director wanted to cast Dulquer Salmaan as the lead actor of Sigma. He liked the story, but due to prior commitments, he didn’t sign up for the film. In a chat with talk-show host Gopinath, Dulquer Salmaan addressed the reports of working with his father, the legendary Mammootty in a project. On being asked if a film is being planned Dulquer Salmaan said "The plans are there...if he does agree to be a part of a film, then I will feel proud of myself because I have been in the industry for 14 years, and his nod means I have earned it. Because convincing him to be part of a project isn't easy. but the thing is, even for Lokah I had to take time to convince him to be a part of it, because the budget went above what we had planned. But he is very supportive."

Netizens have been slamming music composer AR Rahman for collaborating with choreographer Jani Master for the upcoming film Peddi, starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor. Jani Master has been accused of sexually assaulting a minor and is currently out on conditional bail. Singer Chinmayi Sripaada, a frequent collaborator with Rahman, was questioned by a user online about why she hadn’t called him out for working with Jani. Responding to the comment, Chinmayi revealed that she had, in fact, questioned him personally.

Rahman was criticised for posing for photos with Jani Master during the film’s shoot. One X (formerly Twitter) user accused Chinmayi of hypocrisy, writing, “I think Akka will keep quiet because it’s Rahman. Hypocrisy is one of her attributes!” Chinmayi hit back, replying, “Oh please, shut up. I asked Sir — and he had no idea. I have called out even the CM and the biggest actors in the Tamil film industry.”

Chinmayi, who has long spoken against sexual harassment in the industry after accusing lyricist Vairamuthu of misconduct, also addressed the mental toll such activism has taken on her. “You are not the one going to court and getting harassed. So stop targeting me when powerful men employ molesters. You all can call out your idols — I cannot do all the work alone. I have lost enough, been abused enough, and harassed enough. You are an anonymous handle with nothing to lose,” she wrote. Meanwhile, Jani Master recently shared pictures with AR Rahman and Peddi director Buchi Babu Sana. He has choreographed the song Chikiri Chikiri from the film, featuring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor. The images went viral, sparking backlash against Rahman for working with a man facing serious sexual assault charges.

What is the case against Jani Master?

A 21-year-old woman had accused the choreographer of sexually abusing her multiple times. Jani is known for his work in major films like Stree 2, Jailer, Radhe, and Baahubali, among others.

According to reports, the woman alleged that Jani Master abused her repeatedly. The police have booked him under Sections 376(2)(n), 506, and 323 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and initiated an investigation.

As per the FIR, the woman stated that in 2019, she joined Jani Master’s team as an assistant choreographer. “Whenever she travelled outside Hyderabad for shoots, her mother did not accompany her due to the unavailability of tickets and accommodation. During a project in Mumbai, she, along with Jani Master and two male assistants, stayed at a hotel, where Jani Master allegedly sexually assaulted her and threatened to fire her if she spoke about it. He continued to harass her on multiple occasions during subsequent shoots,” the complaint stated.

Normally, Vijay films get massive and record-breaking views on YouTube, and when he joins hands with Anirudh, most of the records will be broken. However, the first single from Jana Nayagan, Thalapathy Kacheri, has surprisingly received low views.

Whistle Podu, the first song from Vijay’s last released film, GOAT, is the most viewed song in 24 hours with more than 24M views, which was expected to be broken by the first single of Jana Nayagan.But the song, titled Thalapathy Kacheri, has not even gone close to that, and it just clocks half of that for 24 hours. Even after 24 hours, the trend is not that great, seeing very low views.

The song was released on 8th November, and still, the views are 14 million, which is shocking. Except for a section of fans, most of the audience have given a mixed response to Thalapathy Kacheri, as they felt that it looks like a regular song, not on par with Anirudh’s best.
