Nikhila Vimal in Sarath- Ashok Selvan cop thriller- Erumbu first look - Cameraman Sridhar Academy opens

Applause Entertainment, in collaboration with E4 Experiments and Eprius Studio, is making a significant impact on the Tamil film industry through their production of the movie "Por Thozil." The film's first look and release date have been officially announced, and it is set to hit theaters on June 9th. The initial glimpse showcases Ashok Selvan and R., while the various appearances of Sarathkumar have captivated fans. Ashok Selvan and R. star in the investigative thriller "Por Thozil," directed by Vignesh Raja, who is making his directorial debut. Sarathkumar and Nikila Vimal play the lead roles. The story revolves around a young police officer who is assigned to apprehend a serial killer. The constable forms an alliance with a senior colleague to investigate and approach the criminal. Applause Entertainment, led by Sameer Nair, a part of the Aditya Birla Group, has a track record of producing and releasing successful shows such as "Rudra: The Edge of Darkness," "Midhya," "Criminal Justice," and "Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story." Additionally, Ebreus Studio LLP, a startup production studio launched in recent years, has partnered with Reliance Entertainment and investment banker Sandeep Mehra, the chairman known for his exceptional creativity. This collaboration joins forces with veteran producer Mukesh Mehta's E4 Entertainments.
The initial glimpses of Erumbu, an upcoming film featuring Monica Siva, Shakthi Rithvik, and George Maryan, were unveiled on Wednesday by the film's creators. Directed by Suresh G, this movie is described as a heartwarming drama. The cast also includes Charlie, MS Bhaskar, Susan George, Paravai Suntharaambaal, and Jagan, among others. "Erumbu follows the story of a young boy, portrayed by Shakthi Ritvik, who misplaces a one-gram ring and embarks on a quest to find it before his family returns home. Monica plays his sister, and George Maryan plays his friend, both of whom support him throughout his journey. Recovering the ring is crucial as it would greatly benefit their financially struggling family.
Check out the recently launched 24MM Film Academy, an institute of Cinematography that caters to aspiring cinematographers. This academy, founded by renowned Cinematographer G. Sridhar, known for his work in the film Parierum Perumal, embodies the phrase "by the Cinematographer, for the Cinematographer." While Sridhar will personally oversee the institute, he remains actively engaged in his profession, evident from his impressive upcoming film projects such as Kazhuvethi Moorkan, Iyalvadhu Karavel, and Paayum Oli Neeyanakku, with two more scheduled to begin production in July. The academy offers a comprehensive one-year course in Cinematography under Sridhar's personal guidance. When asked about his new venture, Sridhar expressed his long-standing dream of providing an extensive professional course at an affordable price, accessible to the new generation of passionate filmmakers. He believes that accessibility is crucial. In response to how his course stands out from established competitors, Sridhar explained his intention to bridge the gap between what institutes offer and what the industry demands. With the rapid advancements in technology, Cinematography has transformed significantly. Sridhar's hands-on experience with this evolution has enabled him to design courses that acquaint aspirants with the latest tools and techniques, preparing them to become industry-ready professionals. Furthermore, Sridhar emphasized that students will be guided through the entire process of script-to-screen, receiving extensive training in various aspects such as cameras, lenses, angles, and lighting. However, beyond the technical aspects, the academy will also focus on refining students' soft skills, including effective communication, coordination, and crew management, all of which play vital roles in the high-stakes world of filmmaking.
