Prithviraj joined Mahesh Babu at the Odisha shooting schedule. Mahesh Babu getup and a long shot of both at the sets were leaked. Dhanush directed Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK) will be arriving on Prime Video on 21st March and it’s expected to receive a big response after OTT release. NEEK was a commercial failure due to its poor release date. NEEK started its journey on a fair note by earning 1.15 crores. However, since word-of-mouth was mixed, it failed to show a desired jump over the weekend. On weekdays, things went downhill, and a total of 6.38 crores came on board. During the second week, things became worse, with the collection reaching a low of 7 lakh on a single day. n the second week, NEEK earned a dismal 1.05 crores. Overall, it raked in a poor total of 7.43 crore net at the Indian box office in 14 days, as per Sacnilk. The budget of the film is Rs 12 crores.

Aparna Guhan Shyam, one of the twin daughters of MS Guhan son of AVM Sarvanan, has filed a civil suit in the High Court asking for one-fifth of the share in the family properties. She has also sought an injunction which aims to restrain AVM Studios from competing with AVM Productions in the film business.Aparna claims that her father had developed a cold attitude towards her ever since she married a person from another caste.AVM has produced films featuring Superstar Rajinikanth, Sivaji Ganesan, Rajkumar, SS Rajendran, Vyjayanthimala, Kamal Haasan and several others. In the latest hearing about the case filed by Netflix asking the court to reject the application filed by Dhanush company as there was no copyright violation by the streaming platform and Nayanthara ( the video was her wedding and life journey), Dhanush lawyer P S Raman argued that at by using a 28-second BTS video, Nayanthara and her team broke their original agreement when they signed the film contract. He said that the lawsuit is valid and can proceed in court. Dhanush has filed a Rs 10 crore lawduit on Nayanthara for using clips from his production film Nannum Rowdy Thaan.

A R Rahman in Dhanush Hindi film / Kamal back in February/ Rajini in Thailand for Pongal

A R Rahman is joining Aanand L Rai – Dhanush who are collaborating once again for their third project, Tere Ishk Mein. Following their successful outings on Raanjhanaa and Atrangi Re, this film is set in the spiritual town of Rishikesh and the film’s music is expected to play a big role in the story.

Rajinikanth spoke to the media at the airport and revealed the film Coolie has already completed 70 percent of the shooting. The next shooting schedule takes place in Thailand from January 13 to January 28, 2025. “Coolie” is the first combo between Rajinikanth and filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj, known for blockbusters such as “Khaidi,” “Vikram,” and “Leo.” “Coolie” is slated for release in May 2025. The film has Aamir Khan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Upendra in key roles. Shruti Haasan appears is the main lead actress.

Dhanush Telugu film caught in Director- Producer fight- Cameraman walks out

 Dhanush who is doing a Telugu film Sir and in Hyderabad is caught in a fight between Producer  DVV Dannaya and director Venky Atluri in what is called ` creative differences'. The film was launched on January 3 and shooting was on. For the second schedule, trouble erupted in terms of creative differences.  Meanwhile unconfirmed reports say that there is also a dispute over heroine Samyuktha Menon's work.

Director Venky refused to shoot in areas where it was pandemic affected. Apart from this, DVV is said to have got jittery after the break up of Dhanush with Aishwarya as he was told that Rajinikanth's fans would boycott the film. Secondly, OTT  market  of Dhanush is seeing a slump. Maaran the Tamil film which will premiere on OTT directly was sold for a price that just gave the producer a thin profit margin. DVV knows that Dhanush5 has not Telugu market and has to take his investment from Tamil market. If Tamil market is shaky, then DVV has started to cut budget.
