Parasakthi film directed by Sudha Kongara is based on the Rajendran the student who lost his life during the anti- Hindi agitation in Tamil Nadu during a police firing against the agitators. The DMK government installed a statue of Rajendran in the Annamalai University. Rajendran body was found with bullet in his forehead, He was laid to rest in his village near Coimbatire. Sivakarthikeyan plats Rajendran in the film and like Amaran, this too is a biopic and here too he is a martyr. Who plays Bhaktavasalam is not known. This is second biopic for Sudha after Irudhi Suttru based on Air Deccan founder Gopinath. There was criticism that Sudha had unnecessarily inserted Periyar photo and create a belief that Gopinath is not from Brahmin community, a distortion of fact. Similarly many incidents were added to give it a filmic touch. In Amarn there was a criticism that hero Mukund’s caste being a Brahmin was totally submerged in the narrative. Yet another aspect is that the then Madurai Collector was T N Seshan who took CM Bhaktavalsam orders seriously and gave police the free hand to resort to firing to put down the agitation. Yet another interesting part is that Congress workers surrounded actor S S Rajendran house as it had a black flag flying. To disperse the crowd, Rajendran fired a few shots from his gun. Many political leaders like Vaiko and other DMK leaders will have to feature in the film narration.

If the title is renewed by AVM, then South Indian Film Chamber would have asked him to get AVM permission but this did not happen ? So the title validity has lapsed and the AVM letter is just a publicity stunt ? Dawn Pictures even got censor certification for the Parasakthi teaser. Story was pitched to Kamal ( original story is Kamal) and expected happened. Now it was Chiru’s turn. Here it seems it sounded like Jilla of Vijay- Mohanlal. But Chiru found it close to Seetharamaraju. Now will Rajinikanth bite the reworked script ? Kamal had at that time used a software called Movie Magic to write the screenplay. Taxes by Pushpa 2 Producers have been paid for Rs 282 crore as collections from Andhra and Telangana The claimed amount was Rs 380 crores. Including areas where it distributed through third party the amount claimed was Rs 831 crores and producers paid for Rs 612 crores. Rs 219 crores was overinflated claim. In Andhra/ TS the actual amount and claimed amount differed by Rs 98 crores. The total amount of Rs 1700 crores including overseas now seems to be over inflated by a great margin. With Rs 219 crore less from outside AP/TS and Rs 98 crore from two Telugu States, the shortfall in India collection is Rs 317 crores. So who is give actuals from overseas ?. A reasonable Rs 1200 crores would be great. Tax men who checked online booking windows felt that Producers were undercutting returns but now find that Producers were telling the truth or rather close to truth.
