What Really Happened On October 2? According to sources, there is a special clause in the contract between the Hindi and Malayalam teams. This rule says that the Hindi team cannot make any major announcements about their film without getting permission from the original makers first. This clause reportedly came into play after the Hindi team announced their film’s release date, October 2, 2026, right after Mohanlal began shooting for the Malayalam version.

The court pointed out that taking the car into custody on just reasonable basis and without any solid reason to do so was not in order but the actor should follow the procedure and ask in writing for return of car. Now customs through ED is trying to further delay the car return. Ro make matters, Customs Commissioner is under severe cyber attack from the actor and his Dad's fans. In a chat with India Today, Ajith said, “I have trouble sleeping. I can't sleep well for more than four hours at a time. Even on flights, I try to rest as little as possible.” He mentioned that this has prevented him from spending much time watching movies and web series.

Non spoiler review:

First half was really good. Emotional and rural connect really worked. A couple of scenes involving the calf and idly shop worked brilliantly. Even the songs were very well woven into the film. Father-son-Idly Kadai bond was extremely moving. Interval setup was pakka for 2nd half.

Instead of building on the emotional drama the first half built, it moves into familiar hero vs villain territory. It gets generic but a few writing touches involving Parthiban’s character, villagers unity work well. Climax was a fun touch.

Overall, a pretty simple yet solid feel-good drama which slides into generic action territory but solid acting, music and production values enhance the film. A refreshing breath of air amidst all the loud action movies.

TL;DR: Brilliant first half but second half is a bit generic and repetitive and loses steam before picking up in pre climax and ends on a fun note

It looks like Suriya's 2D Entertainment Production House will be for works of his actor's daughter and probably Bollywood films, he will launch on Ayudha Puja Day a new production company and first will be Malayalam film Romancham fae Jithu directing him.
